The WE LEAP project is implemented by YIPDI in partnership with UN Women with funding from GIZ. It empowers women through leadership development, economic advancement, and peacebuilding in conflict-affected communities of Jere and Konduga LGAs, Borno State.

Objectives of the Project

  1. Strengthen women’s leadership in peacebuilding and governance.
  2. Improve income-generating opportunities for women through vocational and entrepreneurial skills.
  3. Promote community awareness on women’s rights and gender equality.

Target Population

  1. Jere and Konduga: Women and girls in conflict-affected communities, including vulnerable and marginalized groups.
