Access to Child Protection and Education Services during COVID-19


This project, implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic in MMC and Jere LGAs, Borno State, promoted safe learning environments and provided hygiene support for children. It was fully funded and executed by YIPDI to ensure continuity of child protection services during the public health emergency.

Objectives of the Project

  1. Ensure continuity of child protection services during COVID-19 lockdowns.
  2. Promote hygiene practices and provide sanitation materials in schools and communities.
  3. Support learning through community awareness campaigns and safe engagement spaces.

  1. MMC and Jere: School children, caregivers, and community leaders affected by the pandemic.
