This project was implemented in response to the COVID-19 outbreak to provide safe water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene promotion in IDP camps and host communities in MMC and Jere LGAs of Borno State.

Objectives of the Project

  1. Provide clean water and install handwashing stations in IDP camps.
  2. Distribute hygiene kits and essential sanitation materials to households.
  3. Raise awareness on hygiene and COVID-19 prevention through community education.

Target Population

  1. MMC and Jere: IDPs and vulnerable households in host communities at high risk of COVID-19 transmission.
