Strengthening Resilience Through Community-Based Protection and WASH


This project supported multiple Local Government Areas in Borno State with an integrated package of protection, nutrition, and WASH services. Implemented from 2017 to 2019, the initiative aimed to build resilience and improve the quality of life for conflict-affected children, women, and families.

Objectives of the Project

  1. Deliver child protection and psychosocial support services to conflict-affected children.
  2. Improve access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities in target communities.
  3. Promote nutrition education and practices to reduce malnutrition risks.

Target Population

  1. Gwoza, Rann, Monguno, Ngala, and Dikwa: Displaced and vulnerable families, including women and children.
